| Abstract |
Based on the three volume work "Crabs of Japan and the Adjacent Seas" (1976), by Dr. Tsune Sakai, the information contained on this cd-rom has been extensively revised and extended. More than 1250 species and subspecies belonging to 425 genera are recognized from Japan, the Pacific and the Indian Ocean. All species are described and illustrated, and all published distribution data checked, listed and mapped, including a fully illustrated multiple-entry key, text key and interactive distribution maps.
