Abstract |
Techniques are described for the intensive culture of pike-perch (Stizostedion lucioperca) fry to fingerling size (2,5cm) Artemia and zooplankton were used as live food. The survival amounted to 26,7% and the growth, nearly linear with time, to 0,8mm.d-1. Potential effects of cannibalism on survival and growth, and of light intensity on development of body deformations (lordosis) are discussed. |
