| The Guia Marine Laboratory (LMG) is a unit of the Animal Biology Department of the Sciences Faculty of Lisbon University (FCUL) in the field of Marine Ecology. It is located at Cascais, (Forte de Nª Senhora da Guia) in a building belonging to the Bocage Museum (Lisbon University). The Guia Marine Laboratory/IMAR (LMG/IMAR) was created in July 1998 as one of the R&D Units of IMAR- Institute of Marine Research, a private association without profit objectives. It constitutes since 1974/1975 a R&D Unit of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), an Associated Institution of IMAR. |
