Abstract
This book by Tursh and Greifeneder is a careful study of more than 30,000 specimens of shells in the genus. I can give this book no better review to say that it is a very detailed review of this very popular Genus of shells. The book explains and goes into great detail the formation of the color and the patterns in these shells that make it so hard to distinguish one species from another. Instead of my review, I am going to provide a link to the review by Dr. Harry Lee in the Jacksonville Shell-O-Gram. This review also appeared in the "American Conchologist" magazine.
