Abstract
    The female of Haplostoma canui, a copepod associate of the compound ascidian Polyclinum aurantium is redescribed on the basis of the specimens collected at Roscoff. Some morphological features of these are at variance with those reported in the original description. The differences are summarized in a sable, and the specializations of H. canui are also discussed.
