Abstract
Megrim (Lepidorhombus whiffiagonis) is the most abundant flatfish in Celtic Sea and Biscay Bay. Analysis of stomach contents has allowed determination of diet, variations in account size and geographical origin. Fish represents the most important prey in Celtic Sea. All species are swimming fish, Norway pout, blue whiting, horse mackerel. There are no correlation between size of prey and size of predator. Individual consumption has been evaluated 3.14 to 3.33 % of body weight/day.
