Abstract
    Variation in paragnath number of Nereis diversicolor from the Bou Regreg Estuary (Morocco) has been investigated in relation with salinity and sediment type. Mean numbers of paragnaths increases from the mouth of the estuary to upstream. These variations could be attributed to ecological factors, specially to the median of the sediment.
