Abstract
    The anatomy of the cyprid of Sacculina carcini is built up from a microscopical study of swimming larvae reared in the laboratory. The structure of the head region and the nervous system has been most intensely studied; it shows that the anatomy of Sacculina larvae is clearly related to that of non-parasitic barnacles. The previous interpretations are discussed.
