Abstract
    This paper deals with the material collected during several expeditions to the east coast of Baja California accomplished between the years 1978 and 1982. Range extension for 2 common Californian species (Munna ubiquita and Jaeropsis dubia) are given. Two new genera are described: Janatus, closely related to Janira and Bagatus, and Calafia, second genus in the family Parastenetriidae. Janatus villalobosi sp. nov. and Calafia brevicornis sp. nov. were collected from the upper infralittoral in Bahia Concepcion (near 26 degree 40'N).
