Abstract
    Experimental infestation of young Carcinus maenas with larvae of the Rhizocephala Sacculina carcini have been carried out. The early internal parasitic stages have been observed and the different steps of the nucleus formation are described. Modalities of Sacculina ontogenesis of discussed and compared with those of other Rhizocephalans.
