Abstract
    Fifteen species of Pantopoda have been collected during research on fouling in or near the port of Civitavecchia (Italy). Illustrations are published of Callipallene brevirostris (the value of the 'races' of this species is discussed), Anoplodactylus pygmaeus, Achelia langi, Ammothella appendiculata, Ammothella hispida, Tansystylum orbiculare and T. conirostre. Some ecological considerations on the Pantopoda are made.
