Abstract
    A study of the collections of Antarctic sponges collected by the 23rd, 24th and 25th Chilean Antarctic Expeditions in South Shetland Islands during 3 surveys of benthic fauna assemblages in 1969 and 1970 is made. 34 spp are described. 15 of them are new to the fauna of this area.
