| Abstract |
Research on the genetics of natural populations of Sphaeroma serratum has been pursued on the Atlantic coasts of France. On the coasts of Loire-Atlantique (Baie de Bourgneur), 11 representative samples, including 10,820 individuals, have been gathered, The studied populations show normal frequencies of albicans, discretum and lunulatum. But ornatum, signatum and 'red' (rubrum and aurantiacum), as far as they are present, have so low frequencies that they may be considered as incidental. |
