Abstract
    The cuticular specializations of 3 spp of chaetonotid gastrotrichs, Chaetonotus sp., C. aculifer and C. batillifer sp.n. have been studied by the scanning electron microscope. The new sp is distinguished by the peculiar shape of its lateral paddles.
