Abstract
    A detailed description of the genital tract in male Nerophis lumbriciformis is given. General morphology and the different types of germ cells are discussed. Stages in spermatogenesis are illustrated diagrammatically. A particular study of somatic cells, in order to define their structure and role, is presented. 2 morphologically and functionally different cell types are described.
