    "Lessons learned" in ecotoxicology can guide decision-making on species selection for studies on endocrine disruption. Mummichogs (Fundulus heteroclitus) are environmentally relevant to studies on the Atlantic coast of Canada and fit ecotoxicological criteria for species selection, including responding to endocrine-disrupting compounds (EDCs) in a manner similar to other fish studied
