| Abstract |
This book is about the ongoing transition of fisheries governance and the emergence of research practices and advice frameworks that allow for the co-creation of common knowledge bases for management. This chapter introduces the context under which the GAP project (‘Bridging the gap between science and stakeholders’) was conceived, describes its overall approach, orientates the reader to key issues and introduces the structure of the book. |
