Abstract
Combining offshore wind farms and marine aquaculture is a potential means of enhancing spatial efficiency and providing supplementary livelihood options for fishermen. This innovative approach faces up to the challenge of moving aquaculture operations offshore. However, many obstacles still need to be overcome, not least the provision of a legal framework that would allow for multiple use and management in offshore locations.
