| Abstract |
Blennioid fishes were collected and photographed under water around Sithonia (Chalkidiki, Greece). A total of 18 species was found, 4 of which were documented only by photographs. Most records are new fo Blennioidea known from the Eastern Mediterranean (25 species, 2 with 2 subspecies in the Mediterranean, and I with I subspecies in the Mediterranean and one in the Black Sea) are presented and discussed. Information on the occurrence of Blennies in the Sea of Marmara and in the Black Sea is also presented. |
