Abstract
There are now more than 62.000 records of Dutch branchiopods, which permitted to analyse their trend, rarity and threat status. The last assessment of rarity of Dutch branchiopods stemmed from Notenboom-Ram (1981) and for the large branchiopods from Soesbergen (2011). In this paper the threat status, being a combination of the rarity and trend, is given for all species (table 5). From all Dutch species 29 species (25 %) have declined, five of which have already disappeared from the Netherlands. In total 23 species are candidate to be on a red list(table 6). Dutch common names are proposed for all species.
