| Abstract |
This paper on the malacological fauna of South Madagascar, collected during the Atimo Vatae Expedition in 2010 (Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris), reports 70 species of the family Cerithiopsidae: ofthese, 39 are described as new species, whereas the range of distribution is extended for the remaining 31 species. In total, 12 genera of Cerithiopsidae are recorded: Cerithiopsidella, Clathropsis, Granulopsis,Horologica, Joculator, Marshallopsis, Ondulopsis, Prolixodens, Seila, Synthopsis, Specula, Tuberdiopsis and, pending further data, 1 genus of Newtoniellidae, Cerithiella. |
