| Abstract |
So far, the occurrence of five species of Columbellidae has been documented for French Guiana, and an additional four are suspected to occur there, given their presence in nearby Suriname and/or Brazil. During the 2014 "Our Planet Reviewed" expedition, nineteen species of Columbellidae have been sampled, of which ten species and a genus are new for science, four species pointed out have been found, three more previously suspected are now confirmed and two are new records for French Guiana. One species found previously cannot be found again. |
