Abstract
    Cardium subangulatum Scacchi, 1833 is a synonym of Cardium siculum Sowerby 1834. If this taxon is treated indeed as a full species and not as a junior synonym of Parvicardium exiguum (Gmelin, 1791) or as a form of the latter then the corrected name for that species reads: Parvicardium subangulatum (Scacchi, 1833).
