| Abstract |
Bistolida stolida lorrainae n. ssp. from Queensland differs from the conchologically most similar sympatric B. brevidentata fluctuans by the number of columellar versus labral teeth, and other subtle shellfeatures. Its less thickened teeth, lack of posterior callus, reduced blotching and spotting, separates B. s. lorrainae from other subspecies of B. stolida. The Australian taxa of the stolida species complex are briefly discussed. |
