Abstract
    The suborder Verrucomorpha consists of the three families: Neoverrucidae Newman, Protoverrucidae Newman, and Verrucidae Darwin. The latter family is represented by six genera. A new genus Brochiverruca is distinguished in the genus Rostratoverruca and the description of the new species B. margulisae is given. The new genus differs from Rostratoverruca having numerous ridges on the surface of the tables.
