Abstract
    A short summary is given of different investigations on the skin ulcer disease of flounder (Platichthys flesus). Disease prevalences in diferent sea areas is presented and different factors suggested to influence the prevalences is discussed. Also bacteriological studies on ulcerated flounder from different sea areas is briefely reviewed.
