Abstract
    Ocean acidification threatens the future existence of living pteropods: gastropods with a very thin aragonitic shell, easily dissolved in an acid environment. Increasingly known in scientific circles the problem is now also made more popular by an emotional song on 'youtube' by Sam Lardner.
