Abstract
    The vertical distribution of 24 species of Halacaridae on a number of British shores is investigated. Three species namely Isobactrus ungulatus Bartsch, 1975; Halacarellus basteri v affinis Trouessart, 1896; and Lohmanella norvegica Viets, 1927 are new to the British fauna.
