Abstract
    CO2 hydrates were synthesized in CH3CO2Na/CH3CO2H buffer solutions with various pH values and different concentrations to investigate whether the change of pH value can influence CO2 hydrate formation. The results imply that the change in pH value has a minimum influence on the equilibrium condition of CO2 hydrate. The equilibrium condition of CO2 hydrate in the various pH buffer solutions is seemingly controlled by the total concentration of the acetic acid and acetate anion, while Na+ cation plays a minimum role.
