Abstract
    A new Conus species from S.W. Madagascar is described. Only three specimens are known. The new species is compared with C. acutangulus Lamarck, 1810; C. leobrerai da Motta & Martin, 1982; C. proximus Sowerby, 1959; C. moluccensis Küster, 1838 and the group of C. samiae da Motta, 1982 C. sulcocastaneus Kosuge, 1981 and C. rolani Röckel, 1986.
