Abstract
    Through a study of the type-specimens it is shown that Aclis trilineata Watson, 1897, is a senior synonym of Aclis verduini van Aartsen et al., 1984 [= Pherusa carinata Chaster, 1896 not Aclis carinata Smith, 1872].
