    Polar researchers will soon have their own ride to the icy waters of the Bering Sea and points north. After more than a decade of hitchhiking aboard the Healy, a U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker that doubles as a research vessel, marine scientists are celebrating the launch this weekend of the Sikuliaq, a $200 million, nearly 80-meter ship owned by the U.S. National Science Foundation
