Detailed descriptions and illustrations of the common parasited and commensals of commercial penaeid shrimp are presented. Information of the life cycles and general biological characteristics of these disease producing organisms which spend part or all of their life cycles with shrimp is included. Several conditions of unknown cause are also described.
