Abstract
    The paper describes biological and technological aspects of the rainbow trout culture in the Baltic Sea, along the coast of Mecklenburg/Vorpommern. The presentation reports on hatchery operation, adaptation procedures to brackish water conditions, as well as growout techniques in coastal pages. Furthermore, the report describes the initial results of the first investigations on offshore trout production.
