Abstract
Booralana tricarinata is described from deep-shelf and upper-slope waters off the Bahamas and the Antilles. It is the third species to be assigned to the recently erected cirolanid genus Booralana Bruce, 1986, and the first record of the genus beyond Australian waters. The large species, reaching 54 mm in length, can be distinguished from the other two species by the presence of a median and a pair of submedian carinae on the dorsal surface of the pleotelson.
