| Abstract |
Zapteryx brevirostris (Müller and Henle, 1841), the brazilian short-nosed guitarfish, few years ago mentioned to inhabit Argentine Sea, is redescribed on the base of porcentual measurements, vertebral number countings (through X-ray radiographs), spinous tubercles countings, coloration and other external characters. A photograph and plates of male and female, food content analysis and geographical distribution are added. |
