Abstract
The catecholaminergic pharmacology of the abnormal sessile behaviour of B. plicatilis was investigated. The effect in stereospecific, as (-)norepinephrine (NE) was more potent than ( plus or minus )NE. Phenylephrine and isoproterenol (ISNE) were both partial agonists and may exert their effect via two different mechanisms.
