On possible constructive uses of thermal additions to estuaries

| Abstract |
World population growth with concurrent technological progress is resulting in the production of large quantities of waste products. At present, these waste materials are being released into the environment in an uncontrolled and undirected manner. Such waste releases are creating local environmental conflicts which promise to greatly increase in areal effect. The need to meet world food requirements and to maintain a quality environment dictate that we take full advantage of new knowledge and direct technological capacity toward recycling waste energy into useful foodstuffs. |
