Abstract
    This paper presents briefly the different actions undertaken by the Community for the protection of the sea. It classifies such actions into different categories, namely:- regulatory measures-fighting of incidental pollution-specific actions for the prevention of sea polution-international cooperationIt mentions briefly how all of these actions should be completed by initiatives improving the control of the implementation of the above-mentioned measures.
