An Integrated Software for Iranian Marine Database (ISIMAD) is the result of the multipurpose database management system project which was started from Dec. 1998 and finished on Jul. 1999.This software which has been developed by IRODC is used to collect all different kinds of data from marine cruises in Persian Gulf, Oman Sea and Caspian Sea and to process them.In addition to data classification and data coonnection between different fields, ISIMAD could be used as a powerful tool to process and manage the physical and chemical data and has the capability to be developed for other types of data.
