Abstract
    Based on the boundary element method, this paper proposes a calculation method for hydrodynamic interaction forces between ships in meeting and passing conditions in shallow water and for hydrodynamic forces acting on the ship in the proximity of non-uniform bank wall. The calculating results from this method are compared with the existing results obtained by experiments and those from other theoretical approaches.
