Abstract
Thirteen species of the family Aplysiidae (Gastropoda, Opisthobranchia) found in the Red Sea including the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba, by numerous collectors are described. They are of Indo-Pacific origin except for Aplysia fasciata, a Mediterranean species, which has been taken near the mouth of the suez Canal and in the Red Sea. Three species have migrated northwards from the Red Sea area into the Mediterranean and have successfully established themselves there.
