Abstract
    A check-list of the opisthobranch molluscs recorded from the Maltese Islands to date is presented; 163 species are reported of which 78 are new records. The orders Cephalaspidea, Anaspidea, Notaspidea, Acochlidiacea, Sacoglossa (=Ascoglossa), and Nudibranchia are represented. Some data on distribution are given.
