| Abstract |
Gives a description of seasonal and annual changes in the biomass of microphytobenthos. Searches for a correlation between the biomass and different abiotic factors. Calculates the average annual primary production of the benthic diatoms, estimates the contribution of it to the total - pelagic and benthic - primary production and compares the results to those of other areas in the Netherlands. |
