Abstract: |
INFRAM is an independent company, founded in 1994. It provides consulting services through support of policy and governance agencies on a national level, and internationally through specialist advice and process consultancy. INFRAM
serves EU, national and regional governmental bodies. INFRAM’s advisors provide working methods for integrating knowledge having roots in both science and policy (coastal region management, coastal engineering, civil engineering,
geomatics, science of public administration, science of business administration, rural development, risk analysis, education and training, psychology, a.o.). INFRAM organizational structure is flat and simple: two directors lead a management team of senior consultants, who all lead a sector team and are responsible of the following fields:
- Policy and Public Administration: Development and implementation of strategies and policy; definition of policy goals; decision making processes; administration and governmental authorities and responsibilities.
- Infrastructure Development: Design of management organizations; definition and implementation of information and financial processes; procedures and analyses; public-private partnership (PPP).
- Infrastructure Management: Asset management; translation of policy goals into functional en technical norms; sector analyses and surveys; Life Cycle Cost Management, Social-economic cost benefit analyses.
- Flood Defense: Integrated coastal zone and river management; flood protection and safety; design and risk analyses;
- Knowledge Systems: Information requirement analyses; decision support systems; information acquisition plans; implementation of management systems; remote sensing consultancy.
