Abstract
Three size groups of cod fry, 0,15g to 8g dry weight, were fed live zooplankton and commercial dry food. Cannibalism was prominent in the smallest size-groups fed dry food whereas live zooplankton gave good growth and survival. The results are discussed in relation to the extensive pond rearing-method of cod in Norway.
