Abstract:
Het laboratoire d'Economie et Développement Rural ontwikkelt onderwijs- (bachelor-, master- en aanvullende masteropleidingen) en onderzoeksactiviteiten. De onderzoeksactiviteiten zijn georganiseerd rond de volgende thema's:
  • landbouw- en agrovoedingseconomie (bedrijfsbeheer, landbouwboekhouding, analyse van landbouwsectoren, marktstudies, diversificatie, productverwerking en -promotie);
  • plattelandsontwikkeling (thematische studies over de huidige plattelandsomgeving, strategieontwikkeling voor het Waalse plan voor plattelandsontwikkeling);
  • ontwikkelingseconomie (plattelandsondernemerschap, plattelandsontwikkeling, agrarische dynamiek, sectorstudies, etc.).


Het mariene onderzoek richt zich op socio-ecologische en economische ontwikkelingsuitdagingen binnen de aquacultuur en kleinschalige visserij met als doel het opbouwen van een kennisbasis voor sociaal, economisch en ecologisch duurzame ontwikkeling.
