The HarpBase database includes the data on free-living marine benthic harpacticoids (Harpacticoida: Copepoda) and compiled from different sources, in particular from original sampling data obtained by Benthic Ecology group (Dept of Hydrobiology, Biology Faculty, Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia) and by Laboratory of ecology of coastal bottom communities (P.P.Shirshov Institute of Oceanology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia).
