Beschrijving

Dataset includes zooplankton data (limited to order Tintinnida Kofoid and Campbel, 1929) collected during 7-th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition (March, 2002) on board of R/V Horizont (Bransfield Strait). meer

Samples were collected from different depths in layer 0-100m by bathometer and bucket from the surface. Net samples were collected in layer 0-10m by Apshtein plankton net (mesh 55 um). (http://repository.ibss.org.ua/dspace/handle/99011/207). At IBSS, the data were digitized from paper processing books, quality-controlled and transformed to comply with the Darwin Core/OBIS Schema. Funds for data operations were kindly provided by the Census of Marine Life International Cosmos Prize Fund, through a grant to Rutgers University.
