To quantify sea ice meiofauna abundance in coastal fast ice off Barrow, Alaska, over a sea ice season. (Additional goals of project not in this data set: Polychaete (S. squamata) growth at various algal concentrations representing ice algal and phytoplankton concentrations (Master thesis B. McConnell, University of Alaska Fairbanks); salinity tolerance of S. squamata; sea ice food web using stable carbon and nitrogen isotope values).
